Computer Specification Revision

CSC started the revision process for Computer Specification in August, 2007. As computer is one of considering harmonization products under Collaborate MOU between CSC and USEPA signed in March 2007, CSC will work with USEPA ENERGY STAR team and domestic industry to develop the specification.

CSC hosted kick off meeting in Beijing on 28 August 2007, computer manufacturers, testing labs, power supply manufacturers and silicon companies participated the meeting. Stakeholders provided the comments on test procedure and specification. For download:

Testing Sample Collection
CSC encourages computer manufacturers provide the product samples to identified lab for free data testing from September to December, 2007. CSC intends to collected data to analyses the product energy efficient level and increases the energy efficiency criteria for Certification Programme.
